Walk-in patients to our Private Clinic are seen with very little waiting time so there is no need to make an appointment. You don't have to give your real name or personal details if you feel uncomfortable. There is no need to register or make a long term commitment. We can also organise a home visiting doctor service in London.

Results can be obtained by telephone or in-person. Our medical team includes both male and female private doctors, specialists and practice nurses. A chaperone can be made available.

We can advise and consult on a wide range of general medical issues including the HIV test, cancer screening, dermatology, cholesterol testing, PSA (prostate) screening, blood pressure monitoring, ECG and cardiac screening, audiology, diabetes testing and allergy screens. We can also carry out Russian visa medicals including the HIV test required. Pre-employment overseas medicals are also offered. Well man and well woman Sexual Health screening includes full testing at our STD/GUM clinic.We also carry out cervical smears using liquid-based cytology and HPV testing, including HPV subtypes.

The private doctors at samedaydoctor also offer executive health screening, occupational health assessments/pre-employment medical examinations, travel vaccinations, yellow fever vaccines and malaria tablets.  We also offer vaccinations for children, including single and small combination baby vaccinations. HIV Testing

The Health Protection Agency estimates that approximately 83,000 people in the UK are living with HIV. More than one-quarter don’t know they’re infected with the virus. HIV testing can be carried out as early as 10 days from contact.

HIV testing is carried out on all groups of patients.  Men who have sex with men make up 38% of those living with HIV in the UK, so if you’re engaging in higher-risk sexual activity or have more than one sexual partner, it’s important to visit an STD clinic for testing.

New Technology

samedaydoctor uses new INSTI HIV testing technology, which produces accurate results in just 60 seconds. The test is highly accurate in detecting the virus 90 days after exposure.

Our private GPs perform the standard DUO HIV test, which accurately detects the HIV virus just 28 days after exposure. Confidential test results are available within 4 hours, either in-person at one of our private clinics, or via telephone.  We do the Multiplex HIV test 10 days after contact.  We also offer PEP and we monitor and treat HIV positive patients.

STD Testing

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) have increased in frequency in recent years but greater STD testing and improved treatment methods minimise the effects of sexually contracted diseases such as Chlamydia, Herpes, and Syphilis.

samedaydoctor provides a confidential STD testing service which can provide a review of your sexual health. Our private doctors and GPs conduct pain-free tests on urine samples without the need for swabs.
