samedaydoctor offers a telephone and email advice and consultation service from the comfort of your own home.
Consultations with a private doctor from your home, office or hotel.
Call us or email us to arrange payment of £50 for a telephone or email consultation.
We can advise you on symptoms, blood tests, any further tests required including scans, X rays and referrals to specialists - all of which we can organise for you.
Discounts are offered if the telephone or email consultation is followed up by a face to face consultation with one of our doctors.
If you wish to have an email or telephone consultation with one of our doctors please call us on 020 7631 0090 or email enquiry@samedaydoctor.co.uk to say that you wish to pay for an email or telephone consultation and outline in summary what the problem is. If we think we can help you we will ask for payment in order to proceed.
The cost of the consultation is £50 and the consultation will consist of a 15 minute telephone consultation or an exchange of up to 3 emails and we will try to respond to you within 24 hours Monday to Friday. We will take your full medical history. We can take payment by credit card - you can email us your card details or call us on 020 7631 0090 to give your card payment over the phone.
Our telephone and email consultations are only available to people who normally live or are temporarily in the UK. We cannot give advice to those who live outside the UK.
Terms and conditions for telephone and email consultations
1. The fee for a consultation is £50. We only take this fee if we believe we can help you, but there is no guarantee that we can. The fee is non refundable, but may be used to obtain a discount against a face to face consultation with one of our doctors.
2. This service is only available to those who normally live in the UK or are currently in the UK.
3. We reserve the right to refuse to conduct a telephone or email consultation or to terminate a consultation.
4. We will normally respond to enquiries during the working day Monday to Friday and within 24-48 hours excluding weekends. We may respond outside normal working hours on occasions.
5. The email exchange is up to 3 emails. The telephone consultation is up to 15 minutes. We may advise that you need to attend to see a doctor for an examination or investigation.
6. This service is not suitable for those who are acutely unwell and we advise those with acute illnesses to contact their GP or attend their local A+E department.
7. We cannot accept responsibility for non receipt of emails or unobtainable telephone numbers.
8. All information is kept by us under conditions of strict confidentiality, but we cannot accept responsibility for emails once they have left our system.
9. We can only consult with the patient themselves or the parent or legal guardian of a child under 16. We cannot conduct a consultation about a relative or friend without their permission
